I just wanna show off my new squirrel icon. Look at its evil beady little eye! :shudder:

Anyhoo. They have a Blood + comic now! I discovered this in my last issue of the Buffy comic. Apparently it's been out since January? Whatever, woo, more Kai.

Speaking of the Buffy comic! Apparently Buffy sleeps with one of her Slayers. What. ever. Joss. Whatever. I just dread Willow coming and babbling something about not being into Buffy but now they can go on double dates and it'll be some really bad joke and I'll cringe at the cornball joke.

I recently managed to get my hands on a bootleg of the original London cast of Les Mis from 1985 and a loooot of the lines were different then. Next time I see it I'll be all, noooo why did you change it, that was much closer to the book!

Oh yeah, and then listening to the musical makes me want to watch a bunch of other Les Mis-es, so I was watching one of my favorite versions, a 2000 French mini-series. And everytime I think I am reconciled to the Marius, I am not. I mean, look at him! Not only is he not hot, he's really kinda fugly. And about 10 years too old for the part to boot. sigh! What were they thinking. Especially since Eponine and Cosette are drop dead gorgeous. And it doesn't help that the Enjolras and other revolutionary guy whose name I don't know how to spell are really hot. I spend half the time thinking, why isn't one of THEM Marius?!

Oh yeah, and I did something so dumb I can't stand it. For weeks I've been wanting to read "Saint Joan", the Shaw play, I was been waffling about it for weeks, so I finally bought it at a used bookstore where I got it for like a dollar. And then when I came back home, I realized we have an encyclopedia britannica set of "Great Books" which has one Shaw play in it. Which is, you guessed it, "Saint Joan"!

I also read "Vanity Fair" after having it on my shelf for about four years. That was . . . 800 pages of not much happening. It was funny though. I am renting the movie, even though it got lukewarm reviews. Whatever, pretty costumes! James Purefoy and Jonathan Rhys Meyers in them! Good enough for me.

ETA: STILL have not mastered the cut tag. roar!
