I don't think it's necessary to know the story behind the song, but I'll give a short version anyway: In 1930s Spain, a recent widow with 5 grown daughters declares the household will have 8 years of mourning. Here, the youngest, Adela, sings about wanting to be free and with her lover.
I'm not sure whether using a name for this category is cheating though.

I don't think this song really has a guitar solo. I'm sure a song I must have a song somewhere that has a guitar solo, but it's eluding me completely.

This was hard to come up with. I was browsing through my songs and when this came up, I thought, "yeah this works. It's bouncy. I need that to fill out paperwork."

The East Village Opera Company, habanera redux
I'm not sure this counts as a remix, but I might have stuck this song in anywhere because I love it so much. I love this band so much. I saw them tonight in concert and I cannot describe how fucking awesome they are in words. So here's the song. And listen to how fucking awesome this singer is.
