Post a line from each WIP you have. No context, no explanations.
1. “You are home,” he whispers, he, who had been next to her for lurid twelve months, feeding her, holding her, fucking her until she could taste heaven under her tongue. It was bitter and evil, depraved and saccharine.
2. God, Nana, she repeats. That’s absurd. God doesn’t do sinners. We’re not friends anymore, she said, once, out on the Red Square, as Stalin slept in a golden casket, and she waited to collect another soul.
3. When she’s walking around he has to avert his eyes, numbers are far more interesting, but when she’s facing the opposite wall he steals glances at her back, her bones, he wonders if they’re hollow, circuits, machine, godly or divine.
4. Under his skin, Suzy could see the web of time strings, thin like veins, rushing the seconds through his system, pumping distance into his soul. He was there, but he wasn’t there at all, a paradox himself, a projection, space boy without his stars.
5. Changmin was St. George without a dragon, lance in hand, dead three times, coming back barfing blood and water, because that’s all there was. They came from the same pit, same trench, from each other’s beds, they’ve met, in more ways than others, Godless children of a mindless government, knives in hands, fractured ribcages, no hearts.
6. The murmurs of box-keepers, the laughter of young ballerinas, the clack of their pointés against the wooden floors, the screaming producers, the crowd - there was nothing there. No one, they were gone, they were dead, old, lonely souls, trapped in the ghost’s final act. Reliving it, replaying it, each night for a different crowd of corpses, rats and skeletons. She wanted to relive it, too.
Also, I'd really enjoy getting a few new prompts to write (like quotes, or images, or songs, or anything). I'm an awfully inclined to all things broken and dark (hehe), so it'd be nice to try something new.
So far I can only write Myungsoo/Suzy, Changmin/Jessica, Jaejoong/Jessica and Jaejoong/Nana (with maybe some Jaejoong/Changmin, Infinite/OT7 on the side?), though. I promise I'll eventually walk out of my OTP comfort zone. Not sure how I'd do with any other pairings for now, yikes. Anyway!
