crappy poetry time!
Today's two entries come from my "If i could do it all over again (would i?)" collection, a assignment given to me by Ms. Stass in 9th grade, in which i basicly just used early green day lyrics rearranged into make them fit different poetry styles, however these two are original pieces
There once was this girl that I knew.
Everything she did made me blue.
She's inside my brain
Driving me insane
What, oh what, can i do?
she, she takes her cue from, everything bad i did to her in her past
but please, please have the heart to
to look into those things and present that could have been but
never were
i just want to tell you everything i've been thinking but i cant find the right words
how can you expect me to talk to you when all you and your friends do is things to spite me
maybe my friends are right when they say to let you be, let you pass, let you go
but in, some distant future
I see us together hand in hand together, far away
but it will never happen
no not today, not tomorrow, not, right now.
It will take lots of time if were ever to do anything about it
so maybe you can take a chance just this once,
try me on, see if i fit
because maybe we can but this puzzle right using all the wrong pieces
but you'll never know, unless you try
