The Greatest Update in the World, ALRIGHHHHTTTT!!!
Lots of newsies this week hip hip hooray.
Went to Paris with Tanya last week for 5 days. We did all the usual touristy stuff, visited the Louvre to see some cultural stuffs, went to the top of the Eifeel Tower and Arc de Triumphe (Arc de Triumphe was quite good, had a show of Napoleon because it was the bicentenary of the Battle of Austerlitz.) and of course, we went to Disneyland, which was great! Mid november means no queues for rides and we also got to see a dinner show of Buffalo Bill's Wild West. Which was very cool.
Managed to shop my little heart out too. Bought a good bit of clothes, especially a cool long jacket ala Sin City which was wicked and a steal for only €100.
Also went paintballing in Wexford on Sunday after we got back. Delta Force is a fantastic arena and GSoc is going to have to make a trip there at some point next semester. Was really well ran and the missions were quite cool. The most satisfying part though was that the Marshalls actually marshalled, which is always nice. Would definitley recommend it to anybody into paintball.
(Found out on Monday that I have to get a wisdom tooth out. Gonna be a nasty horrible pain, oh dear)
Went down to Limerick yesterday to see a few of the lads. Went LANing with Aaron and Conor and a few others and had a good laugh playing CoD2, CS Source, Unreal 4 etc etc. Damien offered me a job as Manager of Dimension X in Ennis when I head back down in January, going to give it serious consideration because it sounds like a pretty cool job to do for a bit.
After DX, I went to Barry O'Dea's house to see how his "Lan Party" went, it hd the great attendance of 1 - Thanael, but it was cool cause we sat around for a while and chatted, then I drove everyone home and taught a few of the 1st years to never mention the word RAMPING to me ever again :D
