I noticed we've got a newcomer... yet another poor victim of this hungry town. Anyway, if you need assistance, Miss... whoever you are, let me know. I can come get you... take you where ever you need to go to get you off the streets, provided it is within Silent Hill town limits ( Read more... )

Why does everyone assume I'm going to jump into their laps in this bloody place? Listen, I just woke up here after I was positive I was dead so you'll have to forgive me for being.... weary. I'm going to set out looking for somewhere safe, so if your helpful mood persists with the knowledge that I am wondering about with all those.... things, feel free to seek me out.

Didn't ask you to jump into my lap, sweetheart. Relax. Although you have just arrived, and being here is enough to make anyone a little loony.

I'm not going to risk my hide flying low over the entire town to find you. And it'll be a lot better for you if you find some landmark, or better yet a street sign and just tell me what it says. I can pick you up there, drop you off at the bowling alley, since the others have made it a little haven.

I can forgive you for being weary if you try not to bite my head off for offering to get you somewhere safe. I know this is all pretty traumatic, but just know that almost everyone else in town (there aren't many) have died to get to this lovely place, and have been through hell a few more times since.

Perhaps I meant that in a more metaphorical sense; everyone seems to assume I will instantly trust them...

Well I don't really trust the idea of wondering into somewhere I don't know, so I suppose I shan't be seeing you... although you are yet another person who recommends the bowling ally, which is fine enough information...

A good number of them, you say? Hm.... are most of them human?

Most of them...

Well, there goes my theory that this is some kind of hell for monsters... however I've seen an unpleasant number of those, as well

Everyone's got a different story here, of course. We've all been drawn, one way or another, some at the time of our deaths...

Most of the monsters simply wander the streets, gibbering and moaning. Some of them sit quietly and wait for the right time to lash out. Not all of the undead in Silent Hill are enemies, and not all of the humans are friends.

The gods are as they've always been.

This place is hell... for whoever is unlucky enough to be here.

Lovely. Just peachy. I'm getting fed up with the fact that no one seems to want to tell me a straight story... save for the few... that simply tell me no one is willing so tell a straight story... *scowl*

Could be because the story is long and not so straightforward, ma'am.

You bring up an excellent point... still, I don't see why the people living here feel the need to make things more difficult than the monsters already do

That's what people tend to do, I've noticed. They're all individuals, with their own ideas.

Yes, people do have a habit of complicating things for themselves, foolish creatures...
