ok. so one would assume, if you are a married woman, and happily so, that it is a given that your valentines day will natuarally be a day of love and fun with your significant other.
the sad reality is that, well, shit happens, and husbands get the flu and the wives end up spending valentines without their lover.
yes, this was my fate this year. but all was not lost, as a short drive, a fruity cocktail and an $80 jackpot cured my melancholy faster than you can say thundervalley. ;)
i know that my sweetie will make it up to me. besides, i don't need a holiday to remind me that i am the luckiest girl in the world. i need only wake up in the morning and see my sweetie's smile.
