Chapter 02
Charlie let his thoughts wander (for once not centered on the math) and found himself dreaming about the 3rd best sniper in the United States: Ian Edgerton. He was happy to be home alone. His father had gone away for the week fishing with his friend Stan while Don was at work.
When Charlie saw Ian for the first time, the first thing he thought was “it's my case!” Then when Ian rose and moved forward and Charlie's mouth was dry. Charlie had long since learned to hide what he wanted to hide but damn, did he need to be so damn sexy?
After Charlie had gone with Don to the shooting range during the affair Sniper Zero, Don had escorted him home to 'take care of the aftermath'. Don could be so prudish sometimes. But Charlie did not tell him that his 'aftermath' was more due to imagining Ian with him in the shooting range rather than adrenaline. Don could believe what he wants. That night Charlie was excited, full of dreams on his sniper, despite the fact he took in charge his little problem by fantasizing about Ian in the bathroom. And the garage. And the bedroom. The next day he started to glean any information he could about Ian, discreetly. That would take time and patience but Charlie had those. There was only one concern: Amita.
Charlie had managed to give his cell number to Ian, just in case. And he had worked with him a few more times which Don didn’t know about. When Amita had become too much for him, he wondered why he was bored with it. His father and brother could be damned, he would live his life! Fortunately, he had a perfect plan, and when Amita reminded him what she expected from her boyfriend, Charlie had responded calmly, that we fell in love with people for who they were and not what the other wanted it to be. Amita replied, disdainfully, he should consider himself lucky that he had a woman like her - beautiful and intelligent. She could have anyone she wanted. Alan had enough and it he was who replied. Amita left, red with anger and shame.
Charlie had not only managed to get rid of Amita but also convinced his father and Don to never meddle in his private life. Since it had been they who had pushed to start a relationship with Amita, they decided they couldn't not go against this wish.
So here it is, almost 5 years after his first meeting with Edgerton, thinking of him and what he was doing at the moment. He had ideas about what he would do if Ian was with him now and he left a smile - almost kinky - blossom on his face. His cell phone rang and he read the name of its caller. Speak of the devil. Ah! Perhaps he could have his sniper in his bed soon. He answered the call and purred: “Hello Ian.” “Mine!”
