Okay, I feel like I need to clarify myself because I'm anal like that.

I honestly do not know what the squirrels are doing and I've never thought about it much. In the past I have sometimes "felt" palpable friendliness or hostility from creatures I've seen, but I don't get any feeling at all from the squirrels. I don't think they're trying to connect with me. I really think they're just curious.

Of course, I've been 100 percent wrong about things before because I'm pretty much a spiritually blank idiot, but during those one or two times that I did feel something from a creature, it was damn hard to miss and I was never trying to reach, it was just there. Incidentally it feels extremely weird trying to explain this, like someone's going to laugh, but I hope you all know what I'm feebly trying to put into words.

I'm not discounting the very slight possibility that squirrel is watching me for the future and that it's just extremely obvious I'm nowhere near ready to have a spirit guide yet. But I don't think I ever will be and I'm not worried about it.
