"Saintly Salmagundi"?

The Catholic Church, as large as it is, must necessarily be diverse, also, unless some of its more spiteful elements1 get the upper hand again. My attention was called to this example of the current crop of young reactionaries in the Catholic clergy2.

Among his many other more developed screeds against the libertarian bent of Modern Times, he gave a link to a Pagan clergy directory online with just a snide comment. I am so disappointed it wasn't our listing on PaganDiversity. We must try harder!

The pendulum swings again (or is it the sword of Damocles?) Saintly Salmagundi, indeed. Which of the true saints has ever been a Fascist?

I honestly don't know how much influence these people have at this time, other than to say that any is too much.

I swear on the altar of the Elder Gods eternal bloody enmity to every form of tyranny. (To paraphrase one of my favorite political "idols with feet of clay," TJ)

1. That link exists to provide a counterbalance to the Official Opus Dei Homepage.
