aah the last few days have been great. and i've had loads of interesting/enlightening/weird conversations with many random people from the past. i saw hans's band the other night and another local band called lasalle. they were both quite good and the sound in the place we were was better than many a show i've seen in pdx. h'ville is a small small world and i've seen many people i haven't even thought about in 5 years. it's been very nice. last night i met up with a bunch of people at thirsty turtle and had a really nice time chatting and catching up w/folks. and it's also nice to get a different perspective and be in a completely different place for awhile. the days have been spent watching tv, playing sudoku, eating, and reading. just a fab vacation. oh how i wish it was longer. i'm not sure what the plans are for the 4th, but i'm sure it will involve beer and bbq. yum.
