(no subject)
yesterday i went to the mall (the one time i go a year) and a woman asked me if i could take a few minutes to watch a movie preview and answer some questions about it. i said sure and you know what movie it was...........SNAKES ON A PLANE. i almost died laughing when i saw that. and then i had to answer serious questions about how i would describe the movie to a friend, what things i liked about the preview (which was really bad compared to the ones i've seen on youtube). one question was something like "why do you think you'll see this movie" and all i could think of to answer was "i think it's funny that someone made a movie about snakes on a plane, and then called it snakes on a plane". so now in the nielsen demographics, white women ages 18 to 25 who watch family guy and deadwood (they asked what tv shows i watched) will definitely go see snakes on a plane. ha. it was great.
i watched tampopo yesterday. it is such a great movie. i love the whole rocky-style working out to get the best noodle shop. i had a nice evening of basically just hanging out. i did get to have dinner with alli, lindsey, suji, brandon, and duncan for lindsey's bday. and i talked to sanju but the connection wasn't that great and i mostly just heard my own voice echo, so it was really distracting and i couldn't hear much. but he is doing great and loving everything so that is good. today i am running errands and doing everything i have to do before i leave on wednesday since i'll be working a lot the next two days. of course right before i leave for vacation work starts getting busy. i'm also washing my moldwater covered clothes. again, gross.
