i finally saw king kong on friday night. i think claire mentioned this as well a while ago, but i swore off animal movies quite a while ago because i ALWAYS cry. dog hurts his paw, i cry. a kitty limps in the rain, i cry. milo and otis, the bear...these movies were traumatizing. i made the exception for king kong though cause i like peter jackson. it is a really pretty movie, although the action was too non-stop. seriously, these people would've died of exhaustion running from all the brontasauruses (brontasaurii?) and disgusting big bugs and slugs and t-rexs. but i did cry, and only twice. poor kong got sold out by his only friend. he's so cute. i love the scene where they're ice skating.
saturday was spent at the gym and with various friends of sanju's. he got a new piece of art up and one of the people that came over to put it up taught me how to do this greek dance (cause she spent a year in a greek monastery). it was random but fun. today sanju is sick with some bizarro fever virus thingy so i made soup and he's sleeping. i'm gonna meet up w/kerry and alli at a new coffeeshop, like portland doesn't have enough.
happy birthday yesterday evie!!! we all act immature and retarded sometimes. it's ok!! especially if it's on your bday.
