Skeptics in the Pub is on tomorrow evening.
Our speaker is Lyn Davidson, who will be talking to us about Bad
History - how novel writers and others use history to sell their own (not
entirely accurate) versions of reality.
You can read a taste here:
http://www.skepchick.org/6.15.06/badhistory.html.
Skeptics in the Pub meets every month on (usually) the third Thursday.
We assemble from 1900 when there is a buffet of pub finger food.
The speaker commences at 1930 or thereabouts.
We meet at the Old King's Head Pub, just off Borough High Street, in
Borough. The closest Tube station is London Bridge (use the Borough High
Street exit).
There is a £2.00 donation requested to cover expenses.
More information can be found on our web page
http://www.skeptic.org.uk/pub I hope to see you there!
All the best
