Quicky
So it’s been ages since I posted anything in LJ. Sorry about that, but my thesis deadline looms large and my advisor keeps giving me extra work. It is coming along, but it's also all consuming at the moment. In the mean time here is a quick list of the things that have been happening in my life:
1: Petra left on Wednesday to move to Prague. (Yes, the goodbye was hard, and yes I miss her terribly) She is working as a Rx. in central Prague while she finishes the write up of her PhD. thesis. After lugging a suitcase, that was heavier then her, over two buses, two trains, and up a 6-block hill she got to her new place and she says its great. In case you’re wondering what our future plans are: we are spending Christmas together, and that as far as anyone knows. OK?
2: When I am coming back to the US??? 12/13 of September, Tuesday or Wednesday of next week (OMG that's sooo soon!). And then on the 27th of Sept. I am going to Chi-town and on the 1st of Oct. I go to St. Louis, Craziness!
3: 'Nola. the_bache and elevatorboy13 thanks for taking me there last year, I am glad I got to see it when I did. How is John? I am guessing he left before the storm ever hit. I don’t have much to say myself on it, but these guys put it best I think:
