I loooove vacation
Friday: Christine came over after school...then i went to work...then slept over christinie's mum's house...
Saturday: came home, did a bit of summer shopping with my mum, went to work again...
...about 9:15, almost done with work for the night, Summer says to me, "I want to do something really crazy to take my mind off things, but no one can think of anything--you're good for this kind of stuff Kaitlyn, have any ideas?"
...After a tad bit of thinking, I suddenly blurted out "let's make a giant slip and slide with chocolate sauce and whipped cream!!!!"
.......................And so it was.......................................
So while summer closed up Blake's, I headed to the store to get the ingredients...
4 containers of chocolate sauce
1 container of butterscotch sauce
5 containers of whipped cream
1 big thing of dish soap
Summer picked up a 25 foot piece of tarp/plastic (the kind you put down when you're painting something) and we called many a person to come join us, then we left the mall
Around 10:30 we arrived at Toni's house, which has a nice hill in the front yard...
We were joined by Matt, Sarah, Eric, Cheri and 3 of her friends, Nicki, and Lauren, making a total of 11
And the slip and slide began! A tarp covered in chocolate, butterscotch and whipped cream, with water and soap for extra slipperiness--it was awesome!
And it only got better
When the ingredients ran low, we re-stocked the tarp with more chocolate and whipped cream...along with ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise, and ranch dressing...
Oh it was a beautiful thing
And when even all that wasn't enough, we added to the tarp by running to the Hess station, covered in all the slip and slide ingredients (and I mean COVERED), and Matt only in his boxers and a white t-shirt that was now a tie-dye of condiments, and ventured inside to pick up...
2 giant slurpees
Salsa (tostitos HOT kind)
and onion dip
These were then added to the tarp, and all cars used to drive to the station in smelled like pure vomit, but it was so worth it
Then there was more slip and sliding, and many pictures taken...haha can't wait for those to develop
In the wee hours of the morning, we all ventured home to shower because we all smelled like some combination of vomit, feces, the plague, and hades.
And we saved the tarp...because....there will definately be a slip and slide part 2! And you'll all be invited!
You know you love me!
