11:35 - More words? I cannot write more words: This Week
The bonfire burned brightly outside the This Week studio. Andrew, cheerful as ever, had one gloved hand in his pocket and the other around a mug of mulled blue nun, his breath misting in the air as the fire crackled. Fireworks popped overhead from a distant display.
Michael stood next to Alan, both wrapped in thick coats.
"This is nice," Michael muttered to Alan, quietly enough so Andrew couldn't hear him. "Nothing like last year. He threatened to burn my shirts."
Andrew turned around to look at them, eyes gleaming, and Michael wondered if he'd been speaking quietly enough.
"Shall we uncover the guy?" Michael clapped his hands together in some kind of fiendish delight, before pulling up a large sheet over an object near where he was standing. It revealed a large wheelbarrow, and in that wheelbarrow lay a figure that Michael was scared Andrew had crafted himself.
"Is that - " Alan started, mouth gaping like a fish, "- is that meant to be Diane?"
"Maybe," Andrew grinned. "Now Michael, if you'll pop her on the fire we can begin our festivities for the evening."
