The film follows Blair's development as a rebel without a band while at school, where he discovered his ability to imitate Mick Jagger, through his career as a proto rock-promoter to his audition to be lead singer of Ugly Rumours while at university.
Inter-cut with documentary interviews are dramatic reconstructions of Blair's musical journey directed by Alison Jackson. The programme also features never-before-seen photos and a recording of his earliest performance."
