Actually, AS FAR AS I KNOW (I can't state their heritage for certain, of course) Shaun and Aimee are Filipino Americans. Everything I could find about them states them as American, and coming from California, and if you're born in the USA, you're automatically American. Because of the way things work here (what with 99.9% of our population having origins in other countries, being mixed races, etc), it's easier to call people just plain American, than it is to reference their heritage (which I why I just stated they were American, not Filipino-American).
