From further review of a large picture, I do believe they are zipper pulls. I think he's done that look before...

I sometimes wonder if like, random people see stuff I say about them, and assume I hate them. That makes me sad... I know I got an anon comment on something I said about Fahrenheit, being all like "OMG DON'T HATE ON FAHRENHEIT", and I was all like "uhhhh... I love Fahrenheit"
