Taiwanese news, and stuff...
A lot of Taiwanese entertainment news things have been happening recently. Some interesting and newsworthy, some ridiculous.
A quick rundown;
Vic Zhou: I won't conceal my future relationships - Poor Zai Zai... everyone is just waiting to see who he dates next. I can't imagine being under such scrutiny. I do like how Zai Zai wants to be honest with himself though, not only in the media, but also with what roles he chooses. I liked this quote; "I am not the goody-two shoes that everyone knows me as." Good for him.
Ken Zhu hopes to take nude photos of Kelly Lin - The title is hilarious! Quotes of awesome;
"Taiwanese actor and singer Ken Zhu revealed he has half-naked photos of Vic Zhou"
"His showcase will not only feature photos taken in Europe, Shanghai, and various other scenic spots, but will also feature his love for cats."
I knew Ken had cats, but I didn't know he had a great love for them! Awwww Xiao Tian bao bei! I ♥ you all the more.
Leon Jay Williams rushed to hospital; filming until vomiting - Not really consequential to the article on a whole, BUT it informed me that LJW has a new drama coming out that apparently I did not know about! Poor thing though!
Show Luo attended a party with Kobe Bryant, makes internet users angry again - While slightly different, this is a lot like what dangermousie was just talking about. Asian fans are kinda insane. I don't understand why they would get upset at Xiao Zhu for going to a party, and meeting an American star... So he can't speak english (a fact that is WELL documented), he's not pretending he can, he's not acting superior. Eh, people.
Change of sex? Lee Wei Admits Mix in Gay Bar - This title makes it seem like he's having a sex change operation! Okay, THIS I don't get. The Taiwanese are, in general, hugely accepting of gays. Why are they making a big deal about Lee Wei have gay friends?! Either way, this article was helpful in that it informed me that Lee Wei is going to be in Shanghai Sweetheart, the Rainie/Show drama! Poor thing's probably going to be the secondary guy again. I don't know if I can deal with another Bull Fighting situation...
S.H.E Reveals Passwords - Not really terribly interesting, BUT I am super excited for this new photobook. I think once I get to Taiwan I'm going to buy idol magazines and books, and try to translate and read them. I'll get practice, AND I get to read about my favorite stars!
Arron Yan's slimming pants for burning off fat, with flashing speed becomes the buying kid - The only important parts of the article; "While displaying his pants he said 'I heard that the all the members in the Korean group DBSK wear this! it's super effective!'", and apparently Wu Zun is filming a movie... Did I know that?
Lee Hyori and Wilber Pan Kiss: Wilber Pan didn’t feel anything - You're not fooling anyone there, Will. I mean, LOOK AT HER. Even I'd be feeling things. Will's been loving him some Korean chicks lately. Firse Da Hae, now Hyori... Next Son Dam Bi?!
A thousand NT dollar bikini caught Ella’s attention while filming in Hang Zhou - I'm confused by this article. Are they reporting that the bikini is expensive, or cheap? Because it could go either way ($50 isn't expensive, but it might be compared to most Taiwanese clothing)... Regardless, it's random, the stuff they find newsworthy.
