Finally, some Gokusen movie spoilers, including whether MatsuJun appears in it or not
I've spent the last few days searching frantically for spoilers, to see if MatsuJun made even the smallest appearance. Because IT'S NOT GOKUSEN WITHOUT SAWADA SHIN.
Well, he doesn't. And it seems that the movie is basically a vehicle for Kame.
So I was talking to sn0tcat about it, and she looked it up for me on 2ch (a Japanese message board), and then kindly translated stuff that the netizens were saying for me to wallow in grief about.

噂で亀梨和也のイメージアップのため松本潤と赤西仁を出さなかったと聞きました。
それを聞いて映画を観た時に感じた違和感がやっとわかりました。
異様なまでの亀梨のごり押し。
ヤンクミがか弱い女みたいになってたところ。
すべていかに亀梨和也をかっこよくみせるかの作戦だったのですね。
I heard a rumor that Matsumoto Jun and Akanishi Jin weren't in it
because they were trying to up Kamenashi Kazuya's image.
After hearing that, I went to see it, and I finally understood the
uneasiness I had felt.
Kamenashi's being 'pushed' to the point that it's beyond normal.
Yankumi's become like a weak woman.
It was all a plan to make Kamenashi Kazuya look cool.
これはもうごくせんではないです。
シリーズで1から観てきたひとたちは観ない方がいいです。
卒業生たちも最後に少ししかでてきません。
This isn't even Gokusen.
The people who've watched the show from the beginning shouldn't watch this.
The graduates only appear a little bit at the end.
映画を観ていてこれ「ごくせん」じゃなくて、「かめせん」じゃね！？って思えるくらい小田切こと亀梨先生の見せ場のオンパレード！
viva亀梨！viva亀梨！！というメッセージがスクリーンからひしひしと伝わってきました。
亀梨さんのファンは、必見の映画ですね。
I saw it, and Odagiri aka Kamenashi-sensei had so many good scenes
that I thought, "This isn't 'Gokusen', it's 'Kamesen'!"
You could really see the message, "viva Kamenashi! viva Kamenashi!!"
Fans of Kamenashi should definitely see this movie.

第1シリーズの主要生徒だった沢田慎役の松本潤、第2シリーズの主要生徒だった矢吹隼人役の赤西仁は、登場していない。
Sawada Shin (by Matsumoto Jun), who was the main student in the first
season, and Yabuki Hayato (by Akanishi Jin), who was the main student
in the season season, don't appear.
It is a sad sad day for all of us Shimkumi shippers. It's also a sad day for anyone who loves manga canon, because wtf?! At least the mangaka released (or is releasing, I'm still not sure about that) and additional 2 part chapter featuring Shin and Yankumi.
Their story deserved better.
