Well, I spoke too soon. I had NO time at work today to do anything. It was busy, but the good kind of busy, where a lot got done, and I wasn't totally overwhelmed

OMG I love you. I had not seen those videos before, and holy shit, TOP!!! I can't believe how amazing his singing voice is! He need to put out a solo album soon, and sing on it!!
Also, GD!!
I love cats too! (But that's obvious, ne?) I'm allergic to mine too, but my allergies aren't bad, so I'm lucky in that aspect! And hey, if all else fails, you COULD get a hairless cat!
I only became obsessed with them in January, but I had heard of them a few months before then. I also feel weird liking them, because, yeah, I'm older than all of them too. I mean, I'm 7 years older than Seung Ri, which is weird... I feel the same way, their music is awesome, and they're really7 talented. So whatever. I don't listen to that much Korean music (I mostly listen to Mandarin music), but I'm getting there! I get fanatic about certain musicians as well.
I had heard that too! But since GD's has been pushed back, I'm not sure about the timeline. What I had heard was GD's would be first, then YB's second solo album, and then TOPs... I hope TOP gets to release his soon! I love his solo songs.
They're so adorable together! They're my two favorite members, so I like to think they're really good friends. Because if they hated each other that would be sad... I love Park Bom too!
*sigh* Stupid korean boybands and their stupid youth. I want to be 18 again, damn it! It's not like I'm particularly attracted to him or anything (he's such a baby! Though God, the Strong Baby video... yum), but it's still beyond bizarre to think that when I was 18, he was ELEVEN. With GD and TOP (my Big Bang lust objects), it's better since they're only 4 1/2 and 4 years younger than me, respectively.
I LOVE mandarin music, but then, I love anything Mandarin. I recommend Fahrenheit!
Me too! I can't wait for any of their solo stuff!
I think they get along well too! Hopefully... I get upset when people in entertainment I like actually hate each other.
I wasn't as surprised actually, mostly because the Japanese music industry is similar in their youth obsession. Taiwan was actually the one that seemed strange.
I've only been watching stuff since last July! I started with Japanese stuff (this was when I was trying to learn Japanese), and then got into Taiwanese stuff. And well, the rest is history :D I didn't get into kdramas (I have a misconception that they were all tragic) until much much later. It's good to hear Smiling Pasta is good! It's on my massive list, but not towards the front end. I usually watch stuff with my favorite actors in them first, and I've never seen Cyndi Wang or Nicholas Teo in anything.
The best website for Taiwanese tourism I found is actually the official Taiwanese tourism board; http://www.go2taiwan.net Everything I've found I've gotten from through that site! I never actually found a good guided tour though...
I don't listen to much Japanese music, but my best friend has been in love with anything Japanese for many many years now. I hear a lot through her. Taiwan is actually dissimilar in that almost all of their popular actors and bands/singers are older; mid twenties to mid thirties.
Hehe! Nope! I'm a huge newbie! But when I like something, I LIKE it. I mean, God, I've only been into Big Bang since January, and look at me now! Was Dal Ja's Spring your first drama? I blame my descent into Asian madness of the jdrama Hana Yori Dango. It was my first.
I haven't listened to any of his songs, actually... I tend to know a lot of famous Taiwanese singers/groups in name, but haven't listened to most of them!
That's one of the big reasons why I love Taiwanese entertainment so much! I don't feel weird for liking people so much younger than me. Like, as much as I adore Big Bang, I still feel weird about it sometimes because they're all young. But hell, they're amazing. I can deal ;P
It's amazing how dramas can suck you in. I never would have EVER thought that dramas would suck me in, or manage to lead to me changing my life plan totally.
