I took less pictures this time around, because I figured not everyone is as obsessed with seeing pictures of everything as I am.
I got these last week, but have been either sick, or too tired to do much about it until now.
In these two shipments I got the
Big Bang Always Mini Album, and the
Fahrenheit Final Collectible Edition.
This is Big Bang's first mini album, and my favorite of their mini albums.
The front of the album. I was heavily confused by the packaging at first. I couldn't figure out how to open it (I am remarkably dense sometimes). It's made of cardboard and foam, and smells oddly of Canada mints (wintergreen). But, like with all the other Big Bang albums, it's really nicely packaged. The quality is REALLY high.
The back, with the tracklist. It's a mini, so there's only 6 tracks. Oh, something I always see, but never mention; all of the Big Bang CDs/DVDs are made in Korea. Since most stuff is made in China nowadays, it's nice to see the CDs being made in Korea.
Once I figure out how to open it, I found this; the top portion holds the CD case, underneath the CD there's a cloud scene. The thing on the bottom is the CD extra.
The extra is adorable; it's a paper statue shaped like TOP. I had read that there was no fixed statue (meaning that one package could have YB, one could have GD, etc). I was hoping for GD or TOP, so yay! I haven't put it together yet (TONS of pieces, SO well made), and I'm not sure I ever will (I'm a collector... I don't USE the stuff as much), but regardless, it's awesome. I was expecting stickers, but oh well.
The actual CD! As always, lovely design on the CD. The CD casing was even designed; with clouds (the theme for the Always album). The booklet was VERY nice as well, with a thin blue plastic cover.
See the clouds? See the plastic? Korean CDs never cease to amaze me with their awesome attention to detail. The booklet had lyrics, and a bunch of nice pictures of the band. Everything was yacht themed (again, the theme of the mini album. Watch the MV for Always, and you'll get it).
One of the booklet pictures. Baby and GD on a boat!
This is actually my favorite picture from the booklet. I think it's lovely. Surprising, since as much as I like Dae, he's not my favorite.
This is Fahrenheit's first album. It's so funny to see how the guy's styles have changed from the beginning. Especially Jiro's!
Front cover. They're all wearing pink, and are soooo cute! Is it me, or does Aaron look like a cardboard cutout of himself?...
Taiwanese CD's (or at least the ones I've bought) come in DVD cases... Or maybe it's just because they contain DVDs... I have no idea.
These are cute and totally useless to me. They're little calendar cards. But the calendars are from 2007... Oh well, they're still cute!
This is from the booklet. The booklet cover is the same as the cover of the case, so I didn't include a photo. The booklet has lyrics, photos of each of the members, and a couple group shots. This is, obviously, Aaron's. So cute. I love his hair like that
Jiro's! You can really see just how much his style has changed between albums. I mean, compare to him
here.
On the other hand, Wu Zun looks almost exactly the same. He apparently just doesn't age. At all.
Calvin! He also, apparently, doesn't age. I like his hair better here, than in the newer album.
Adorable group shot where they all wear pink and look cute. Especially Wu Zun.
Aw! I love these boys. (Um, am I the only one unnaturally transfixed by Jiro's... pants)
I'm almost certain I'm going to preorder Jolin's new album... just, apparently, not yet.
