Densha Otoko episodes 5 and 6. And some gratuitous Shun.

The next two episodes of Densha Otoko were enjoyable, but there was too little Shun-kun...

I adore Tsuyoshi-kun, he's pretty awesome (though GOD, what a geek), but I think my true love of this show is Saori. I have a massive girlcrush on her. She's so amazing. She finds Tsuyoshi-kun cute despite him making an ass of himself most of the time. She doesn't depend on him, but isn't afraid to accept his help. She's, like, a total classy lady. And at the end of episode 6, she's not upset that he's a total otaku (TOTAL otaku. He's even wearing the clothes... *gag*), she's upset that he lied to her. She doesn't care at all about the geekiness. I love her because she's so amazing to Tsuyoshi despite them being so different.

But yeah. I think episodes 5 and 6 were filler. Now stuff's getting exciting; the shit is about to hit the fan for Tsuyoshi-kun.

I'm not going to narrate a lot. But I do have some caps!

Densha has lots of fans, including this dapper man who loves his shoes, and often disagrees with Densha trying to get Hermes (On the thread, Densha = Tsuyoshi, and Hermes = Saori, btw).

He also has a fan in this awesome punk rock dude with a guitar fetish.

Oh Tsuyoshi, such a geek.

Saori's friends make her do a group date. Tsuyoshi invites his friends. Saori's friends are not pleased. At all.

In this episode, Saori is being stalked! Some guy leaves her a bunch of creepy pictures of her.

When trying to find a solution to the stalking problem, one of Densha's followers, a crazy army dude, suggests blowing the stalker up with an AMERICAN bazooka.

When confronting the stalker, Tsuyoshi is terrified when the perp pulls out a scary weapon...!

A HUGE SCARY 3 inch pocket knife. If someone pulled shit like that on me, I'd either laugh from the ridiculousness, or knock it out of their hand.

'Nother one of Densha's followers. Is it me, or does he kinda look like Vanness?

I wanted to cap this guy and his Korea Air model plane (which he hugs occasionally), but hilarious caught it between shots, so it looks like the pilot's jacket had an old man face on it.

Speaking of hugging, this Densha follower is hugging a pillow!

And this one is hugging protein powder!

This Densha follower is a fan of BOTH Japan and Germany!

Hayami Mocomichi! With blondish hair! Mmmmm.

This Densha follower is a huge fan of the Hanshin Tigers. And has a random schoolgirl poster scroll...

I think he's the creepiest of the Densha followers. Not that a guy having boobalicious girl posters is strange. But whatever. Still kinda creepy.

Tsuyoshi got invited to Saori's house, and even dapper shoe guy is excited for him!

Clothing engrish! Why would I want to paint Germany blue?

Tsuyoshi practices confessing to a dummy(?!) in the street. He then bows, hits it, and knocks it's head off. All while Moco and Saori's mom watch.

DACHSHUND! Right before this scene, there's an awesome 'Something About Mary' bit. The dog bites/grabs onto Tsuyoshi's hand, and then he flails around trying to get it off. The dog is replaced with a plushie.

Most of Densha's followers meet at a Benoist tea tasting!

Speaking of Benoist tea... One of the most obvious ad placements ever. But hey, it worked!

Gratuitous blonde Moco!

Not so gratuitous (but HILARIOUS) pic of Gekidan Hitori! He's imitating a egg-laying sea turtle, but ends up looking massively constipated.

Like I said, there wasn't a lot of Shun-kun in these episodes. But I did cap every shot he was in!

HAIR!

Is it sad that I immediately knew it was Shun-kun when I saw this shot?

He still hasn't spoken once. I'm still getting a strong feeling from the character though. Way to be awesome at acting, Shun-kun!

Sunlight?! You mean his room actually had windows? Everything isn't all green all the time?! Shun-kun looks angered by the sunlight! Also, awesome paisley shirt there... And did his hair suddenly become HOT?! Wha? How? Such is the power of Shun.

oguri shun, japan is my homeboy, drama, jdrama, densha otoko
