(no subject)
It's 3:15 pm. I just came in from working in the hottest part of the yard during the hottest part of the day. I'll tell you why. Because, I started a project. Something that's been on my mind to do, but wasn't on TODAYS list. So in addition to weeding, planting, laying a stone wall, raking, mulching and transplanting, I moved a stone path a foot to the left. and it did it really sloppy. but it's done. all my tools are put away and nothing is half finished.
I've been sewing and playing but not gardening for almost a month. I decided today is the day to go outside. It's nice out too. not too hot, a nice breeze. I saw a hummingbird and a Monarch butterfly.
Now I'm in and realizing that Paul is going to be late tonight and I only slept 3 hours last night. I feel fine. That's good. However, perhaps a nap is in order.
Watched a movie we have taped from TV years ago. 'KAFKA' with Jeremy Irons, Alec Guiness and a bunch of stars whose faces I know only. Very interesting. Creepy yet lots of comedy. Everyone is a 'character' except Kafka. I suppose it's looking through his eyes. Still, a fascinating combination of comedy, drama and horror.
Do I always do this? Use so many commas and make so many lists?
