Something that annoys Roald when we go to restaurants is the fact that I make mods on my order. My "philosophy" (a term too often loosely thrown around. I have no idea what a real philosophy is but this isn't it k) was that going places is about the experience and what better way to enjoy your experience other than having exactly what you want?
Anyway, after just 1 chapter of "the man who ate everything" (hey lisa, I talk about books too... Google it lol) I'm not sure if he even mentioned it but I really starting thinking about how to enjoy food.
Something that was hard for me to understand and accept is having something the way someone intended it. Like so many things in life, you can interpret what someone has designed any way you want
And you can make changes but then it wouldn't be how they designed it. Some people just go way off though because I would never eat a cheeseburger but maybe I'm not the demographic anyway.
Basically, I wonder how hard it is going to be to take things in as per original design. The coffee I'm drinking (slowly) is black like whoever first brewed it intended (unless he had an excess of cream and sugar to invent a beverage for).
This obviously is more than what I consume (physically, at least. Well is it proper to mentally and spiritually consume things? Today it is)
Re: lisas recent post about language and words (there have been many...)
Maybe I won't see or feel or taste things the way they are seen, felt or tasted by others but I will try to connect with the origin. I think it will be cool.
Then maybe someone will do the same to me and take me srsly because I joke around too much.
