My good friend Matt pointed this article out to me:

Please read this and let me know what you all think.  I personally was disgusted.  Is this an accurate representation of those in our country who actually fight for "social justice" and "liberty?"  People are quick to blame President Bush for ( Read more... )

hehehe :) I have a good reason to support abortion. I would rather see a dead child than one thats abused by its parents because they didnt want to have it and dont love it. As you may or may not know from my past comments, I support death in general. I personally dont care about the people who die in iraq. Worse things happen than death. Dont get me wrong though, i do care about the families who have lost a loved one in the war. The only reason i am against the war in iraq is that bush asked for approval from the UN, didnt get it, but attacked anyway. In my opinion , this makes bush an asshole. Anywho, as for "reevaluating my humanity," I think people should reevaluate what humanity is. Caring about death isn't humanity. It's being a wimp. If I went around crying about every person (or fetus) who died in this country, I would cry all day long. I would be what I despise, the emo kid.-Rob :)

while I understand that sentiment greatly, and was a supporter of that stance for a very long time, There are other options. Yes I think abortion should be made illegal, but only under conditions that are not like those currently set up. There needs to be funding for abstinence education, there need to be other options made more realistic for parents. People keep saying adoption but that has been made so hard with so much red tape that desperate mothers aren't prepared to take that route. Programs that make these things possible will then create the ability to end abortion. There are some very small non-profit programs that try to do so but they cannot meet the huge need there is due to lack of funding and lack of people who will help their cause. hmm I think that while many democrats are pro-choice, they are also the ones who would support social programs that would rid the need for abortion. While many of their republican colleagues hold strong to their ties of support from businesses that have connections to alcohol ( ... )

I'm not sure that's a good reason to support abortion. Also, George Bush and unliateralism (although a topic for another day) is not such a bad thing as many think. I'll explain it some time.

"mother teresa said that america has become a selfish nation, in danger of losing the proper meaning of love: "giving until it hurts." the greatest proof, she said, is abortion, the effects of which can be seen in escalating violence. "if we accept that a mother can kill even her own child, how can we tell other people not to kill each other? ...Any country that accepts abortion is not teaching its people to love, but to use any violence to get what they want ( ... )
