I didn't particularly care about my grades in high school. Much less other people's grades. But this, I think, is too much. It's unfair to everyone I know who got kicked out of Pisay cos they failed to make the cut. If you got a 5.0, it means you got a 4.0 and failed the removal exam. I don't judge this latest bunch of people who got 5.0s in Math. God knows pamatay ang Calculus. Pero kahit kawawa sila na nakakuha sila ng singko, it doesn't mean dapat sila kaawaan at bigyan ng Pisay diploma! Ang alam ko lang, marami akong kaibigang umiyak nung nagka-singko sila. At hindi sila nabigyan ng chance to get a Pisay diploma. What was the PRINCIPLE behind this change in policy? Di ko lang maintindihan tlga. And that crap about them not being allowed to attend the graduation ceremony? So what?! The gradcerem is just an exercise of ego, and we all know it's more for the benefit of our families than for ourselves. Ang importante ay yung diploma - and their diploma says they finished high school in PSHS, singko or no singko. Is that fair?
