So as I was washing my hands in the restroom today, I glanced down at a pack of "Velvet" brand toilet paper. On the package, it said, "The Family Tissue>" What, I asked myself, makes Velvet brand toilet paper the family tissue? Do the roses indented onto the paper more accurately reflect family values than say the hearts on Quilted Northern? Or perhaps the fact that Quilted Northern has three single women on its commercials makes it less of a "family" tissue because promotes a life on singledom without children. But what about Charmin? What makes it less of a family tissue? Is it because it was designed for animal-friendly households (with bears on the commercial)? Or perhaps it was merely designed for the hairy and obese (much like the bears) and therefore not a healthy environment for the family. Perhaps Velvet is a family tissue because it doesn't have commericials, and therefore doesn't promote turning children's minds into sludge by watching television.
Perhaps the answer is simply 42.
Such are the big questions in life.
As you can probably tell, I haven't been sleeping too much.
