So I was glancing through photos of mine recently when it dawned on me that I have no record of my life other than my writing. I use my photography for art, but can't it also serve the purpose of memories? So I decided to take my camera everywhere with me and snap pictures of whatever/whoever catches my eye.

Since I can't share in person all of the photos that I took, I decided to get one of those Kodak picture cd's to go along with my film. Oh dear God. The quality on the disc sucks big time! All of the pictures are grainy, blue, bad contrast and brightness... horrible quality all in all. The prints are so much better. But until I get my scanner hooked up again, these will have to do.

Here's Liz hiding from the camera. She's so lucky I ran out of film before getting pictures of her.

Courtney at work, looking over her shoulder and giving me her bedroom eyes.

Little five-foot Chris, also at work, trying to be tough.

This one was really hard to get it to turn out decently. It's Tristin talking, probably about her love affair with Yoda.

Zyn's awesome necklaces. The one with her name is near impossible to read on here, but it's clear in the print.

Andrea likes to put stickers on her notebook just so she can peel them off and have something to do in class.

And now Andrea smiling at the camera.

Beth looking adorable in an attempt to hide.

And where I ended up after school, and ended my roll of film - One Mo' Cup coffee shop.

So after school, I had this intense urge to do something for myself to relax. So I drive into Northside, park my car, pump quarters into the meter, and walk in the nearest door. It turned out to be One Mo' Cup, so I ordered myself a cup of chai and sat across from a woman looking very intently at her laptop. After about half an hour of doing homework and reading, I decided to talk to her. I'm sorry. When it comes to meeting new people, I can't help myself. It's kind of like they're my prey. Mwhahaha... anyways... so she (Melinda, it turns out) is a 30-year-old cook at a restaurant there in Northside. She's moving to New York in two weeks to go to Culinary School. In the mean time, she's finishing up her graduate degree that she started at OSU. She sings Renaissance and Baroque (fancy, huh?). She was really intelligent and fun to talk to. See what sucking up the courage to talk to a stranger can do? Anyways, since she's moving, there was no point in exchanging numbers, so we exchanged e-mails instead.

So then I went to work, and now I'm here, delaying some much-needed sleep, which is especially necessary since I have to get up at the buttcrack of dawn to pick Beth up to take to school. I feel like a soccer mom already.

Peace.
