Look at your LJ interests list. If you have fewer than 50 interests, pick every fifth one. If you have between 50 and 75, pick every seventh one. If you have more than 75, pick every tenth one. If you have fewer than 10, pick them all. List them on your LJ, and tell everyone exactly what it is about these things that interests you so much.
books - I love to read. I'm such a dork. I used to never, but then one day I woke up and thought, "Golly Gee, I'm literate! Maybe I should use said skill."
cars - This isn't for the same reason why most people list 'cars' as an interest. I don't look at car magazines and lust after the models like they're pinup girls. Instead, I see cars as a way of describing oneself. My car is a junker. It shows that I don't care much about impressing based on the outside. The inside is relatively clean, decorated with an air freshener and articles that I must keep with me (my bad, skateboard, consistently used car fluids). The inside may need a little repair, but it keeps chugging on with the optimistic outlook of "I think I can (make it up the hill)."
cuddling - What can I say. I love cuddling. Human touch can sometimes do what words can't.
E.R. - Oh my God, I used to be addicted to this show. Not so much anymore, but still a classic.
Greenday - I don't listen to much of their new stuff (mainly due to the radio killing it), but listening to the older albums bring back a flood of memories of my sister and I yelling along to it.
llamas - "Happy llama, sad llama, manic-depressive llama!" Nicole and Caitie share my love for the llama. Sheep + Donkey + Camel = Llama. It's like a mix cd - a compilation of the best. God felt creative.
playgrounds - You ever notice how nostalgic it can be to go to a playground and play? To stand in front of the wheel that steers nothing and pretend that you're captain of a boat or airship... Ahem. I mean... playgrounds are for little kids. Right...
safety pins - It goes where the duct tape doesn't! I keep a prescription bottle full of them in my bag at all times. They're to be credited with holding together my skating jeans (which I refuse to retire).
skating - A skill that I seem to lack, but love nonetheless. I just hate the twelve-year-old boys with their girl hair in their face and tight jeans trying to show off for me.
stickers - What other means is more effective at telling your opinions to the masses?
thrift stores - Why pay more than you have to? Especially when money is such a fluid concept. And you can find the craziest original things there. It's where t-shirts made for company picnics and family reunions go to retire, only to be discovered by a random teenager and be laughed at.
Any questions?
