So. Just got back from Lords of Dogtown. It was such a good movie. It wasn't some dumb skate/drug movie filled with sex. It was a good movie that was actualy quite beautiful. It was sooo sad at the end I almost cried. I went into that movie thinking it was going to be another dumb skate movie you know, like the rest of them? But this one was actualy deep. I loved it. See it if you can appreciate skating becasue I know some kids who went to see it and said it was a waste of time.
Everyone's got something about summer in their profile. I'm getting freaking butterflies. I can't fucking wait.
Karl's going to buy me a camera for my "graduation" present. Haha, wow. How Novi is that? At first he told me that I'd have to buy it myself, then I said "Well Dad, I'm not going to Farewell, and if I was, you'd have to buy a dress for me right?" and he goes "Yeah, you're right. Do people get graduation presents from graduation from 8th grade here?" and I shrug and say "Yeah, probably haha" and he says "Okay, I can do that. We'll say the camera is your graduation present" Haha. Karl was in a great mood today.
Sooo...Just in case you didn't know...In exactly 2 weeks from this moment, I will be at Cedar Point with 9 of my best friends....Yup!
So I ran 4 miles yesterday and power-walked a 5th one to cool down. It felt great. I'm gonna do it again tonight. When I finished the running part (the end of the 4th mile) I finished with a sprint, and you know how you get to that point where you're legs are moving, but you aren't even aware of it (Tav knows what I'm talking about!)? I felt like a freaking gazelle! I was leaping and soaring through the air like never before. I always feel that burst of unknown energy, but lsat night it was sooooo intense! I really felt like a gazelle haha.
Sooo....Yeah.....I'm gonna go do my homework, then go for that amazing run. Have a great day.
