Long time no see
Yes, I realize I hardly ever write in this thing anymore, but I still read everyone else's journal almost everyday. Except for lately because I've been working so much. This week I worked over 40 hours in 3 days. Only because we are in the beginings of a trial. I can't say what or anything just yet because we are in "no comment" mode at work. So I'll just say since this is my first trial to work, it has been really interesting. It is a total roller coaster ride, that isn't going to stop for at least 2-3 more weeks. Hopefully 2 rather than 3 because working 17 hour says really can take a toll on a person. Yes, I'll be making hella over time but uncle sam is going to get a nice peice of that since he likes to tax the hell out of anything past the first 10 hours of OT. But if we win, there might be a nice bonus check. Which will be really nice since the birthday will be at the end of this.
Besdies working my ass off, Andrea is getting married this weekend, and it should be a wonderful wedding. WOOT for heteros and their rights! Honestly, anytime someone mentions married or husband or anything along that line, I begin to get resentful. Its awful I know, but its not fair....everyone else is happy and married. I'm happy but can't get married. And yes I know I'm putting the cart before the horse and all because I don't even have a significant other but really though....its the principal of it.
Speaking of significant others and dating....I met a girl....like a month ago...we went out 3 or 4 times, and after the last date she is all "I don't know what I want etc etc etc" and I'm just thinking..."omg, I'm not trying to marry you, I just want to freaking hold your hand not even inner-digitate...just hold hands...seriously one month later and we can't hold hands but you want me to go to church with you and have me call you every night." Gald that ended anyways because really though...17 hours of work makes amanda not really accessable.
Any word on when dixie chicks tickets are finally going to go on sale for houston? They were supposed to go on sale 2-3 weeks ago and never did. I need to get a pair for my mom's b-day/mother's day.
Allright, I'm going to take advantage of my get to go home early day and go to bed at a decent hour...night peeps. And please forgive any mispellings of mine...I'm tired and too lazy to spell check at the moment.
