Yesterday rocked. Mom's 25th anniversary at work was this week and one of her two gifts was to go out to a nice restaurant downtown with whoever, so of course she picked me and this other lady that she's known forever. We went to...crap, I forgot but it's that seafood restaurant on top of those beautiful blue steps that lead up on the side of the Gap. Yeah, that one. I'm not a fan of most seafood, but we had a company credit card with no limit and by God, we were going to take advantage of that. Between three people we spent $95 including tax and it was such a powerful moment! My mom is a pretty money wise woman that uses coupons for everything when she doesn't have to, but I know she felt like hot shit paying for that dinner. I took home the most amazing layered chocolate cake. Mom's other present from work was $1000 shopping spree in this magazine that had everything. She bought a $900 cooking pan set. Who does that? I'd sell it on eBay.
I bought two new pairs of fishnet stockings and new mary-jane high heels and I felt like a slut trying them on with outfits last night.
Speaking of slutty behavior, tonight I am attending a sex party. That's right A SEX PARTY. It's not a swinger party, just a Tupperware party for kinky women. Kind of like that. The best thing about it is that my mom is throwing it and she's making me come. I peeked at the party booklet and I couldn't even take it. Just seeing all of those things made me squeal. It'll be fun though. I'll take a camera and take pictures of all the crazy stuff.
It's pretty cool when you get to a point in your mother-daughter relationship that she invites you to her own Passion Party. When I was in the first few years of high school I couldn't stand the woman, but now she's one of my best friends. We're so open with each other and can talk about anything. I mean anything. She mentioned foursomes at lunch a few weeks ago! I blew it off, but when I got home I was like "WHAT THE!" That's not cool in my book, but I don't know what my mom's up to. She's still a cool cat.
I love Johnny Cash and I love the song Lola, by the kinks. I first heard it down at the lake a long time ago and all of my aunts were singing it together and I thought it was pretty sweet when they started spelling cola. I downloaded the song, memorized it and now I too, can spell cola. C-o-l-a.
Longest entry EVER! PEACE.
