So, it's lucky I'm lazy. Cos if I wasn't, there would be dozens of pages of Strictly Come Dancing and Merlin fanfic (SCD/Merlin crossover fic, even), and I wouldn't be sorry. I mean, Merlin. Merlin/Arthur (who continues to be hilariously awful). Merlin/Lancelot. Arthur/Merlin/Lancelot (YES PLEASE OM NOM). Really, who needs Guinevere? I've even almost given up being annoyed at the way they've totally fucked around with the myth and dragged the whole thing down to the level of, say, Hollyoaks. (Look, I know it was always going to be silly, but they could've at least made an effort.) ALSO, JULIAN RHIND-TUTT NEXT WEEK SQUEEEEEEEEEEE.
As for SCD... Matthew/Brendan (even though I hate Brendan)? Maybe Brendan could be the one person who can make the lovely Matt lose his temper? they could be the only ones left in the rehersal rooms at the end of the day and Brendan could be having a tantrum, the way he does, and they would be all sweaty cos they just finished training... Yeah. I'm ashamed, don't worry. And there could also be Matt/Brian (with Brian, who I am weirdly fond of already, being homesick. Or Matt/Alesha friendship fic (yes, I love Matthew Cutler, and no, I do not think of him as straight. ETA: Although, apparently, he is.).
And even if, as I suspect, Ian is gay, JODIE/IAN FOREVER. That kiss! They could have blonde giraffe babies.
Also, just got the 'heatwave in your pants' line in 'I Don't Care'. WHAT.
