So I think I've pretty much had my fill of homosexuality for the weekend.
Me & Steph went to see Brokeback Mountain yesterday, & it was an OVERALL good movie [I like how it was shot in such an artsy fashion], but really, I could have done w/ out seeing Heath Ledger & Jake Gyllenhal get it on. I'm not so into gay porn or porn in general, so I was kinda grossed out.
I should have listened to miss Cortney...what was I thinking.
If that wasn't enough, for my human sexuality class I had to read the first chapter of our book [the topic: origin of human sexuality], not more than 10 pages in I'm reading about Ancient Greek men who had sex w/ boys[post-pubescent boys to be exact] to show their superiority & power in their society.
Needless to say I stopped reading after that.
Ugh.
Is this what I signed up for?
If so, I might just have to drop this course.
Honestly, if I see one more image or read something like what I've just mentioned, I will scream.
Ok maybe not scream...but be, you know, uncomfortable.
