In the morning I leave for UVM. I still can't get over the fact that I'll be living away from home. I don't think I'll have much of a problem with it, but the longest I've ever been away from my family before was 13 days of backpacking, rock climbing, and canoeing after 8th grade. It really snuck up on me.
I've had a great night so far - dinner at the Pint w/family + Kelly, running into Dan K on the way out, fun with Photobooth and Garageband, Futurama/Family Guy - but I don't expect I'll be able to sleep at all. I keep thinking of all my friends, my family, everyone I know around here, and how much I'm going to miss them all. It's not that I wont come home from time to time, but I'm not naive enough to think that I'll be able to keep in touch with everyone, and it's depressing to think that I'll never see some of my friends again. All I can do now is keep in touch as best I can.
To everyone out there: thanks for the all the memories. It's been fun, and if any of you are ever in Burlington, drop me a line.
