Officially moved in. Cleaned. Decorated. Baked scones to test out the oven. Now what? I've been sitting around reading The Bhagavad Gita and snacking on blueberries. Living alone is quite boring
( Read more... )
They do say hell is other people... but then, as you say, living alone can be tedious, so what can we do, right?
So much deceit herein though! As in you're writing about deceit, not that your journal is full of lying. Obviously. But even so, people need to get their acts together, the opportunistic little weasels!
And yes, I may bug you from time to time... you didn't think I'd let an LJ friend thingy be only one-way, did you? People like us know the (enormous lack of) value to one-sided friendships after all. ;)
Hi! ♥ Thank you for adding me! I always ask Sae how you're doing, so I figured I'd stop bothering her and just add you to get information directly from the source. Hope you don't mind!
I think the thing I learned the most so far in university is that uni students = kindergarteners. Besides a select few wonderful people, I'm constantly being surprised at their level of maturity. I'm not saying I'm not immature sometimes too, but these people are so selfish and inconsiderate I just want to bang my head against the wall. It's so hard to find true friends.
It can be hard, definitely, but I think we both lucked out with Sae on that level. ;)
I had no idea uni was that bad though! Then again, I'm still struggling with people my own age too... and aren't women supposed to mature faster? I'm not sure that's a cover-all rule you know! I'm glad we're both finding exceptions to this sort of thing though.
And thank you for the add leading to my add! It's really great you're following what's going on... just bear with the terminology and so forth, it's sort of all my own little world over there. :P
Ahhh I'm so glad I introduced you guys, I knew you would get along~ We have to try hard to share the GOOD friends, because they're rare! That's what I've come to learn growing up.
If you think uni students are from kindergarten, then high school students must be from preschool, because trust me, high school is MUCH worse maturity-wise. I think your mind would probably just blow up. They actually make uni students SEEM mature in comparison. And my high school was probably the worst idiot-wise.
