I don't particulalry like it when one musical artist does a song that has already been popularized by another artist- especially a big name. I rather like original material, however, there are always exceptions...

And the biggest one for me is Joe Cocer's rendition of "WIth a LIttle Help from my Friends."  HE took the BEatles song from Sgt Pepper and made it all his own. HE took a 4/4 song and sang it in 3/4 for beginners, and then lent his own sould whine to the song, making it a totally different tune from what Ringo had originally sang. It is just awesome and I still perfer that version.
