Check your meds
One of these days I will actually listen to my intuition. Wish I had THIS time. I have been on a particular blood pressure medication for over four years, and of course my insurance loves generics. Well, the pharamcy changed the generic and it didn't work. Which is an understatement.
Mind you, when I saw that the pill was unfamiliar, I did my homework- jumped on the internet and found out that this is a new generic just approved by the FDA. Silly me, I had my doubts, but as the other generic worked just fine, I went ahead and took it. Took it for five days as a matter of fact.
Tonight (or rather last night/this morning,) I was in the ER because it just didn't work. By BP was through the roof. Luckily, I see my doc today and the pahramcy has graciously ordered me the old generic.
Perhaps one day I will learn. And it won't be such an expensive lesson!
