Hi guys :) I have... *counts* six new wallpapers.
But I'll start with a piece that is a little different from my usual media. It's not a collage, but a digital painting (well, sketch, to be fair). It is kinda concept-less :), and can't say I'm terribly happy with it execution-wise, but still I believe it's the best I did so far, so... *sigh* Media used: Corel Painter IX, Photoshop CS 3, graphic tablet (Wacom Intuos 3).

Now onto the more traditional stuff.
A brothers wallpaper based on 5.01; beware of spoilers. It's pretty straightforward, with ravens and cracks being the metaphors of doubts and broken trust - I guess it doesn't need further explanations :)
Trust you:

1024x768 Next, I have an episodic piece for 5x10 (major spoilers for the episode).
I loved the imagery and visual 'rhymes' this episode was full of (even though some of them made me cry). I tried to incorporate some of them into this wall.
The piece is basically about death, and about Jo and Ellen being the first victims of the Apocalypse. I added Lucifer with a shovel because I loved the symbolism of the image - he's figuratively digging the grave for all humanity. There are also Reapers - both as a sign of the Horseman coming and foreshadowing of Jo and Ellen's death. Dead bodies scattered on the ground just like those empty glasses, that was my attempt to show how many deaths will follow and how little they will mean for Lucifer. The fire of explosion and the flames on the photograph was another sad 'rhyme'. Finally, I added the shot of TV screen with the image of a tornado in it because it is another terrifying symbol of the apocalypse that's started. The quote I used in the wall is from that same scene with TV news program, it's what the reporter is saying in the background about 'death tolls having yet to be estimated'. Hearing that, and watchig the group photo burn, made me fear that Jo and Ellen won't be the only main characters who die this season :(

1024x768 And an older piece that I found in my PSD folder and finished, based on the episode 1.09 Home. I started it in 2007, which probably makes it my record of, ehm, slowlyness.
I think the story of Mary becoming a ghost and haunting the house that once was her and her children's home is devastatingly sad. That single terrible mistake she was tricked into making long ago made her sons homeless forever, in more ways than one :( I used the shots of Mary's ghost, family photograph, and empty road to illustrate the idea. The axe breaking the wall of the house symbolizes evil that came and ruined the family's life, leaving wounds. ('And wounds get infected.')

1024x768 This one isn't concept-heavy, again. I sort of planned to make myself a little eye candy for my own desktop but lost the fight with composition, so I'm not really sure of the result. Oh well.
