Wallpaper update: BtVS and Moonlight
Happy Valentine's day, everyone! ♥
Well, I have a couple of new 'shippy wallpapers, guess today's a good day to post them :)
First, the traditional tribute to my spuffy love:

This wallpaper was made for a challenge over at BFN, the challenge theme was "Symbolic stocks". I'll copy my commentary to the piece from the forum:
The symbols. I thought I'd try something less obvious [to symbolize immortality and vampires] than clockface or blood splatters, and went with various debris (ancient and modern) and circle-shaped composition to show time and decay. I assembled the background of images of stone and dead wood and used a lot of black and rusty colours, as it seemed to fit with the theme. The only stocks that aren't dead are flowers (that's the part I'm not happy with because I'm not sure their meaning is clear without explanation...) The small white flowers are ones of venus trap, and the orchid-like thing is a carnivorous plant, too. I wanted to add in a venus trap leaf that is easier to recognize, but in the end decided against it 'cause it didn't look good in the piece. So I went with tiger lily instead, which isn't a predator but is named after one. The idea behind all these was to symbolize the vampires: weird and deadly, but beautiful; and their friendship/love that keeps blooming in spite of time and darkness %))
And a non-shippy variation, featuring Mick only:

I also have a couple of SPN ones, but they're a little angsty for this day. I'll try to post them before I go back to hospital, probably tomorrow :)

P.S.: Oh, and I'd like to ask a little favor from those of you who have accounts at Flickr and/or speak Spanish. Someone made two collages from my Sword!Buffy wallpaper and posted them on their flickr gallery. Those collages are also used as background at this Spanish blog along with the header which is cut out of my wallpaper as well. If anyone would be willing to contact that person(s) and ask to remove the pieces they made using my artwork, I would greatly appreciate it :)
