Wallpapers: Torchwood and Supernatural
I bought new computer last week, with large and pretty LCD monitor to replace the old one that was beginning to kill my eyes. Everything is super bright and sharp now (which is wonderful); only thing, I have no idea how my colours actually look when I make a wallpaper %) I'm telling this now because I'd like to ask you guys to comment on the two newest walls below: how do they look on your monitors? Aren't they washed out or oversharpened? Please, and thank you!
I'll start with Supernatural. This Sam-centric piece contains a quote from 4x04, although it's not too spoilery (he doesn't tell anything we didn't know in the previous season). Demon blood:

Next, I have a Torchwood episodic wallpaper (1x04 Cyberwoman). Apparently this ridiculous show has eaten a bigger chunk of my brain than I thought. Uhm. It was inspired by the monster challenge at BuffyForums :) I based it on this bit of dialogue between Jack and Ianto:
Jack: You execute her or I'll execute you both!
Ianto: I won't do it. You can't make me. You like to think you're a hero. But you're the biggest monster of all.
I tried to show that the term 'monster' actually applies to the characters portrayed: the damaged girl turned into a crazy cyborg, the pterodactyl tearing her body apart, and the all-smile-and-dimples-Jack who apparently can be cruel enough to order a man to kill his lover. I'm not exactly a fan of Ianto, and IMO his lies and actions behind the team's back do put him into very grey area (at least ethically), but I feel for him in this episode :/

And lastly, an older piece that was made on request, to be printed on a fan-made calendar for Russian multi-fandom convention that took place in Moscow last month. It's just a simple shipper thing to advertize the fandom. I'm finally allowed to publish it, so here it is :)
