Some Harry Potter fanart
Don't know why, but I feel strangely uninspired by the Harry Potter 'verse lately. Maybe this has something to do with the fact that I am one of those "visual" persons who need to see interesting image to get their creative juices running - and I didn't enjoy in that sence neither the fourth movie, nor the fifth one... Or, maybe it's the after-taste of the last book. Which, frankly, I liked a lot - but it also left me with a number of painful little disappointments; and, being the 'canonist' I am, I can't achieve the peace between the canon and myself now. (The worst part of that is that, when those plot lines were only started, I used to adore them - but now that they fulfilled, I just can't seem to accept the way they finished. Tonks and Lupin dying the way they did? Lily Evans turning out to be the greatest Mary Sue of the saga? Albus Severus? I need some time to stomack those, and so does my muse.)
Well, anyway :) Here are my latest HP fanarts. All three were made for contests on the board I'm a member of - due to the lack of inspiration I just ranted about :)
Ghost
A weird manipulation %) I do realize that Cedric and Dark Lord hardly have anything in common, but I had to use these characters in the piece. So, I came up with this idea: Cedric's ghost haunting Voldemort:

This one was made for the second round of the contest I mentioned. This time, I had to use this image of Cho Chang, the Diffuse glow filter and six default custom shapes (thus the weird background). I hope the spelling of her name is correct - I don't speak Chinese and just copied it from Wikipedia :o)

And this is illustration to "Чертополох", a Russian fic by Assidi. The girl in the foreground is original character, student from Beauxbaton (I'm pretty sure I spelled it wrong, ugh). The guy in the background is Barty Crouch, which you hopefully can recognize %) She secretly does a research trying to find out who her relatives are, and he sees her in the library. This painting was made for the summer ficathon over at a Russian HP board. Media used: PS7, pen tablet.
