A close friend of mine actually made the one that's linked - she puts a lot of work into them and has a rather large following, even with prices like that. It's not for everyone, sure, but she's made quite a name for herself.

You are right that her stuff isn't for everyone. However, if anyone has ever tried to sew faux fur, they'll understand how much work goes into those critters.

That said, I still want a green Petunia from her shop. I should've bought one of the dust bunny ones when they were available; those were even cuter than the green ones.
