This is really fucked up:
Important Registration/Waitlist Information: Registrar staff has determined that in some isolated cases, Waitlist Notification messages have been routed to student junk mail folders instead of the students' inbox. We strongly advise students expecting waitlist notifications to check junk mail folders for notifications.
The issue has been resolved, however, if you received a notification in your junk mail folder please forward the message to [address removed, not that I would mind terribly if random people started sending the Western registrar's office hate mail].
The timestamp on this e-mail is 5:34 pm today, Friday. I logged into my student e-mail immediately and checked my junk mail. Sure enough, there was the notice telling me that I could register for a class that I absolutely need to take so that I can graduate next quarter. My 24 hour registration window closed yesterday afternoon. I also found a handful of official university communications and e-mails from professors, sent from @wwu.edu addresses, that had been labeled junk over the years.
Awesome.
