it's a baby chinchilla. for those of you who think i'm just a weirdo, i'm not. i cared for the parents for a month this summer while one of them was making this little thing, and i never knew. i confused the sexes and thought he was fat. the chinchillas are born with all thier fur and open eyes. they hop around and make adorable noises. they are also incredibly soft. which is why people kill them and skin them.
