Personal Reflection #2: An Informal Study of Human Mating Habit
The University of Texas at Austin is a party school that there are so many parties, especially Friday night. With drunken situation, male and female students fall into the temptation of human mating habits. I firstly experienced these human mating habits when I was entering freshman. Because I did not have many friends, I did not go out on Friday usually. I spent time with playing game or watching TV commonly and one Friday night I went to sleep after I played the computer game till 2 o’clock. I was sleeping and my roommate went out for party. But, I could not keep sleeping well because there was a weird sound in my room. At that moment, I witnessed that my roomy Eric was having sex with his girl friend. That was shocking experience because I have never watched someone having sex in front of me. After this experience, I have watched many people having sex after meeting in club, bar and travel. Especially, UT has the unique places where “human mating habit” could be easy. Starting from Friday night to weekend, bars and clubs in 6th streets are full of people in group. I have been 6th streets several times with my friends and I see many people involve in “one night stand.” Girls who are wearing short mini-skirts and gaudy tank top attract men’s attention and they start to get together with drinking together. Soon, they disappear in a couple at very late night. The 6th street is the best place where “human mating habit” often completed. I am also a person who usually experience “human mating habit.” One Friday night, I and my girl friend went to the club in 6th streets. Originally, we were not planned to have sex but we could not stop our natural human mating habit after we got drunken. I could not control myself and we had a romantic sex in the car, apartment and park. I think that “Human mating habit” is very natural interaction between man and woman.
