I refuse to believe that your world revolves around me.
Your silly words of "I still love you" don't mean anything to me.
Thanks to you I've learnt to harden my heart.
I close my eyes to the fake.
I don't speak to the unfair, liars, or those full of greed.
I admit to my conceit, my ego, everything I am.
I embrace my 'weird', my inner demon, my child at heart.
Thanks to you, I was able to find a man who could love me and teach me about being faithful.
All because of you I met a man worth learning about.
Not everything came easy, and I'm glad you were my obstacle,
I helped you when it was my responsibility as a girlfriend to help
